“The Champions Enthusiast, Nurul Fadila”
Nurul Fadila, won third place in the 2018 Student League Swimming Competition, making the name of the Muhammadiyah University Surakarta again proud. The competition, which was held for two days in Bandung, to be precise at the Koni Achievement Swimming Pool, West Java, was attended by students from UGM, UI, and from other private and public universities.
For Fadila, achievement in swimming competitions is no longer an ordinary thing. Since elementary-high school, he has often won swimming at regional, national and international levels. Until he has collected dozens of medals and trophies.

“Alhamdullilah I won 2nd place in ASEAN AGE GROUP 2011 Championship, 1st place POPDA JATENG 2013 Championship, 1st place in KRAS in Yogyakarta & Central Java 2014 Championship and many other swiming competitions since Elemntary-High Schools.” Said Fadila, (11/21).
Even thought as an active student of Communication Science, that doens’t dempen Fadila’s enthusiasm to continue to make the achievement in the world of swimming, dispite the various obtacles that must fae it. Fadila ravealed that she was pessimistic about participating in the swimming potential in the Student league given the various obstacles that exist. However, with the support and encourgament of her personal trainer, Fadila decided to stick with her potential.
“Just come along, what a shame she alrady in collage, why don’t you join even thought you still can, my coach said. Finnaly I tried to register myself and took care of all the files and their administration until I helpless. The important thing is my initial attention was achived to bring the UMS name become fragrant”. Said Fadila proudly, (11/23).
